Eric Nelson / Service Technician

Eric’s story isn’t your typical straight line—it’s a well-crafted mosaic, pieced together with skill, hustle, and a few high-stakes hands of poker.

Born and raised in southern New Hampshire, he cut his teeth as a glazier in a Boston glass shop, mastering the art of commercial aluminum windows and doors. With over 15 years in construction and remodeling, he knows how to build things that last—whether it’s a structure, a career, or a life filled with adventure.

But there’s more to Eric than blueprints and glass panes. When his kids were young, he and his wife, Lauren, packed up and headed west to Las Vegas, where he traded in his tool belt for a shaker tin, becoming a lead bartender and bar manager on the legendary Vegas Strip. Late at night, he’d swap cocktails for cards, testing his nerve in no-limit poker games under the neon glow.

After a decade in the desert, life called for a new chapter. Post-pandemic, the family landed in Fayetteville, where they’ve put down deep roots. Lauren, an educator of eight years, now helps shape young minds as an Instructional Coach at a local elementary school. Their two sons, Ean (18) and Landen (15), are growing into their own adventures.

From glass to construction, from Vegas nightlife to Southern living, Eric’s journey is proof that a well-built life isn’t about sticking to one blueprint—it’s about knowing when to pivot, when to bet big, and when to build something entirely new.
