5 WAYS TO DECORATE YOUR FRONT DOOR FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Christmas lights

You can’t go wrong with a little Christmas cheer at your front door this time of year. If you’re looking for an easy way to get into the holiday spirit, these ideas will not disappoint! From glittering lights and garland without ever having to climb on those ladders again (or asking any children), there are plenty of ways that make decorating simple yet festive enough so everyone knows where home is come December 25th

.

ADD A BEAUTIFUL WREATH

There are many ways to give your front door decor a personal touch. Start with an evergreen wreath crafted from branches and berrys, whether it be real or faux is up to you! Add in some red velvet bow for extra flair. Some other ideas: wrap the whole thing around by hanging battery-powered twinkle lights all over; interspersing pine cone picks throughout will make this craft look lush too; finally put on top of them silver bells – you can use the ones with bells so that they jingle when knocked together (this doesn’t require electricity since they’re powered only by kinetic energy).

FESTIVELY FRAME YOUR FRONT DOOR

To make a grand entrance, frame the front door with store-bought pre-lit garland. Bonus points for highlighting any interesting architecture details such as columns and wind chimes! If you embellish this decoration by adding bows or ornaments then just be sure that they’re recommended for outdoor use because these decorations won’t last if exposed to direct sunlight all day long
Lighting up your path will always lift anyone’s mood—and who doesn’t love coming home after work? Instead of using real candles (which can melt) go ahead an invest in some flameless ones so there are no worries about them going out on ya early 😂

MARK THE PATH

Line the stairs to your front door with evergreen plants to greet visitors every step of the way. Real ones will impart a familiar holiday scent, but faux can be reused year after year and won’t get devoured by deer! If you want artificial trees or wreaths in all their glory though; just put one scented ornament into each branch for that true Yuletide feeling–and don’t worry about not having enough space on display because these guys are so full they usually take up less than other types (even Christmas Trees).

MAKE IT WARM AND INVITING

Put a festive twist on your front porch this winter by setting out a festive doormat. Choose a holiday-themed design, request an individualized design with guests’ names which you can have done locally or choose a provider on Etsy!
